About

Here at The Place Of Exchange Worship Center, we are driven by a single goal; connect people with the love of Jesus Christ.  Our foundation is rooted in 2 Corinthians 5:17-19

" This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!  And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.  For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation"

We endeavor to connect people with the love of Jesus Christ, and remind all that no matter what sin they have committed, no matter the mistake, because of Jesus Christ there can be an Exchange.

The Place Of Exchange Worship Center was established in July 2022.  Pastor Jamel Toney serves as Lead Pastor & is married to Lakeisha Toney.  They have 2 children and reside in New Jersey

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Our Mission

Our Mission

We believe that God has called the Church to work together in unity and honor in preaching the gospel to all nations, in making disciples according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles, and in remembering the poor and ministering to their needs through sacrificial giving and practical service.

Our mission is to proclaim, preserve, and display the gospel.

  1. Proclaim the gospel. Jesus charged the apostles with proclaiming the gospel to all nations (Matt. 28:18-20), and he established the church to carry out that task. Preaching the gospel is central to the church’s mission (2 Tim. 2:15, 4:2)

  2. Preserve the gospel. Paul calls the church a pillar and buttress of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15). The church is charged with the task of preserving the true gospel throughout the ages (1 Tim. 1:3-4; 2 Tim. 1:13; Tit. 1:9). It does this through faithfully preaching the gospel, refuting false teaching, and maintaining doctrinal and moral purity among its members.

  3. Display the gospel.Paul says that through the church God makes known his wisdom to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places (Eph. 3:10). Through the holy lives of its members and its unity-in-diversity (1 Cor. 12:12-26), the church is called to be a vivid, living color display of the gospel it preaches.
